Independent Contractor Taxi Driver - Orange County, CA

Looking for a flexible driving opportunity in Orange County? We are recruiting dependable, customer-focused Independent Contractor Taxi Drivers within approximately 50 miles of Santa Ana, California.

This is a 1099 independent-contractor opportunity with full-time and part-time participation available. Drivers choose their own schedules and can lease a company vehicle or operate their own qualifying vehicle. No CDL or previous professional driving experience is required.

Drivers are responsible for applicable fees and expenses, including fuel. Earnings are not guaranteed and depend on availability, hours driven, trip volume and driver activity.

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid California Class C driver's license. Qualified candidates must meet driving-record requirements and successfully complete the required City of Anaheim Taxicab Driver Permit process, including applicable background investigation, Live Scan/fingerprinting and drug screening requirements.

New drivers also complete a three-day unpaid orientation before beginning operations.

Drivers do not need to report to the Santa Ana office every day.
