Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and GE equipment proficiency for a community hospital setting.
Details
- Community hospital setting supporting adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and ICU patients
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM
- Approximately 39-40 hours per week on a blocked overnight schedule
- Performs abdomen and pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
- Utilizes GE CT equipment and PACS system
- Uses Meditech charting system
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) and BLS certification required (License required if applicable)
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- GE equipment experience required
- Meditech charting system experience required
- Community hospital experience required
- Skilled in image display and post processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
- Proficient in contrast media preparation and administration
- Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
- 1 supervisory reference within the past year required for consideration
Additional Information
- 13-week assignment with possibility of extension
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Candidates must not live within a 50-mile radius of the facility
- PA fingerprinting and ChildLine clearance must be completed promptly after contract signing due to strict credentialing timelines
- Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract
- Previous permanent or per diem employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 18 months before returning as a traveler
