Housekeepers and Room Attendants

Job Title: Hotel Housekeeper 

 

Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will play a key role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, maintains high cleanliness standards, and contributes to an exceptional guest experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas 

• Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock toiletries and supplies

• Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures 

• Inspect rooms to ensure they meet cleanliness and presentation standards 

• Sign for room keys, retrieve and transport a fully stocked housekeeping cart to assigned rooms, and restock supplies as needed 

• Perform a final visual inspection of each room for cleanliness and appearance, and mark room status as complete 

• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards promptly 

• Clean and maintain public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms 

• Follow proper health, safety, and chemical handling procedures 

• Respond to guest requests in a courteous, timely, and professional manner 

• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in an organized manner 

 

Qualifications: 

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required 

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods 

• Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude Work Schedule: 

• Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays 

• Ability to work varying shifts based on hotel needs
