Position Summary

The Clinical Assistant – Staff Development provides administrative and operational support to the Staff Development team, with a primary focus on coordinating new-hire orientation and in-service programs. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the flexibility to travel to various agency locations as needed to support program setup and operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Organizes and coordinates schedules for new-hire orientation and monthly in-service programs.

Travels to agency locations as needed for orientation and in-service class setup and support.

Must be flexible and able to reliably travel to various agency locations based on business needs, including arriving early when required for setup.

May be required to transport materials or supplies between agency locations as needed.

Communicates professionally with field staff to ensure orientation schedules are organized, communicated, and followed.

Facilitates communication between contract vendors and clinical teams and obtains required clinical documentation in a timely manner.

Facilitates the ordering and delivery of supplies to patients’ homes.

Completes required documentation to ensure all activities are appropriately noted.

Participates in data collection for patient surveys.

Assists the clinical management team with follow-up with nurses regarding documentation and compliance issues.

Performs all related duties to support the efficient operations of the agency.

Performs clerical and administrative duties necessary to support the clinical teams.
