Partner-Level California Employment Counsel

Fairgrieve Law Office, a boutique employer-side employment law firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Employment Counsel to join our team. This is a remote attorney position for a seasoned California employment law attorney seeking sophisticated employment law work with flexibility in their overall schedule.

We are open to attorneys seeking either a full-time position or a reduced schedule. The attorney’s annual billable-hour commitment will be established based on the schedule and workload they are seeking.

$160,000 - $270,000

• Advise employers on employment law issues including terminations, leaves, wage & hour, discrimination claims, and compliance

• Defend employers in litigation and agency claims

• Draft policies, handbooks, and employment agreements

• Represent clients before state and federal administrative agencies

• Serve as a trusted advisor to business clients

• Licensed to practice law in California

• 10+ years of employment law experience, including both litigation and proactive advice & counsel

• Proven ability to independently manage employment matters

• Exceptional client relationship, writing, and communication skills
