Job Description
Moving Forward Treatment Center LLC is seeking a part-time Child Care Worker to support and care for teenage girls in an onsite setting in Grand Prairie and Dallas, TX.
Position SummaryThe Child Care Worker provides safe, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for children while maintaining a structured environment. This role supports daily activities, supervises children during routines and play, and helps foster positive behavior and engagement.
Working onsite, the Child Care Worker collaborates with the team to ensure children’s needs are met consistently, with a focus on safety, respect, and effective communication with families and colleagues.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide supervision and hands-on care for children during daily routines, activities, and designated playtime
Support age-appropriate development through structured activities, learning-based games, and positive reinforcement
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in assigned areas
Follow established policies and procedures for behavior support, incident reporting, and child safety
Communicate with caregivers and team members to share observations and support continuity of care
Diploma or GED
Drivers License
Experience in a child care or caregiving role, supporting children with daily routines and supervision
Ability to maintain safety-focused vigilance while supervising multiple children
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with children and communicate respectfully with others
Reliability and punctuality in a part-time onsite schedule
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to established procedures
Experience working in a treatment, education, or childcare program serving children with diverse needs
Demonstrated skills in supporting positive behavior and de-escalating conflict calmly
Familiarity with basic child development principles and age-appropriate activity planning
Experience documenting routine observations and communicating concerns to a superviso
