The Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) provides trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and culturally responsive behavioral health services to adults enrolled in the CMHP. This position ensures service delivery in compliance with OAR 309-019 (Outpatient Behavioral Health Services), OAR 309-033 (Community Mental Health Program Operations), and all applicable professional ethics and BOLI employment standards.

What You'll Do
- Conducts comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and individualized service plans per OAR 309-019-0125 and 309-019-0105.
- Provides individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed practices.
- Completes suicide risk assessments, crisis interventions, and safety planning as indicated.
- Coordinates referrals to higher or lower levels of care, including residential, detoxification, or inpatient treatment.
- Maintains consistent, reliable, and in-person attendance as an essential job function under BOLI and agency policy.
- Coordinates care with psychiatrists, primary care, QMHAs, peer support, housing, and social service partners.
- Engages in discharge and transition planning to support community stability.
What We're Looking For
- Meets the Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) definition under OAR 309-019-0105(60).
- Master?s degree in a behavioral health field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology).
- Licensed or registered toward licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.) preferred.
- Two years of experience providing mental health services to adults preferred.
- Must pass background check under OAR 407-007-0200 to 407-007-0370
- Valid Oregon driver?s license and insurable driving record.
- Clinical competency in DSM-5 diagnostics, case formulation, and crisis response.
