Job Summary
Inpatient Physical Therapist (PT IP) This position is based in a healthcare facility where the professional will provide inpatient acute care physical therapy services. The role involves evaluating, planning, and implementing patient-centered treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients with various orthopedic and neurological conditions.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association)
- Education Requirements: Master's Degree in Physical Therapy; CA PT Licensure
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inpatient unit, including orthopedics and neurology treatment
- Location Requirements: CA license required
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week, starting 11/02/2026 and ending 02/01/2027
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, Master's Degree, CA PT Licensure, 2 years of inpatient experience, and knowledge of acute care settings with adult and geriatric populations
- Additional Information: The position involves working with interdisciplinary teams, utilizing specialized equipment, and delivering comprehensive patient care with a patient ratio of approximately 6 patients per day. Some weekends may be required, with no on-call responsibilities.
- Submittal Requirements: Candidates must upload current Nursys license verification within the last two weeks and applicable certifications with valid expiration dates. Two references obtained within the last year are required.
- RTO Policy: Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract; holiday RTO restrictions apply as specified.
- Compliance: Labs must be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing; all work history verification documentation for the past 7 years must be submitted within 10 days prior to start date.
