Description:
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
Requirements:
Evening shift-5x8hours Must have EPIC experience The primary start time is 1330 but hours may vary depending on departmental staffing and operational needs. Other times include • 11:00 am, 1330, 1430, or 1500-We are looking for a strong multimodality candidate. CT experience is required, with additional support in X-ray and OR preferred. Ideally the candidate would be able to assist in all three areas (CT, X-ray, and OR), but we would consider candidates who are proficient in at least two of the three modalities.
Education and Work Experience:
- Associate?s degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
- Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
- Basic Life Support (BLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required in CA, if employee operates fluoroscopy equipment
- Venipuncture certification: Required in CA, if employees performs venipuncture to administer contrast materials
Facility Specific License/Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- Venipuncture (IV) certification: Required
