Job Summary
CT Technologist Tuolumne County, CA. This position involves operating advanced medical imaging equipment, including computed tomography (CT), mammography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and/or mammography devices. The role supports departmental objectives and fosters an environment that enables the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. The candidate will perform at least three modalities regularly.
Job Details
- Education and Work Experience: Associate's Degree in radiologic technology required; Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred; Masters Degree preferred; three years technical experience preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Radiologic Technologist (RT) licensure in the state of practice required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) certification required in CA and HI. Certification in at least one advanced modality (Computed Tomography, Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or Positron Emission Tomography) required in CA and HI.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Essential Functions: Perform various radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography, and ultrasound examinations; perform three modalities competently; safely transport and transfer patients; test defibrillator and check crash cart; perform mobile imaging as necessary; prepare contrast agents; perform other duties as assigned.
