Job Description :
- Position: CT Technologist (CT Tech)
- Shift: 3rd Shift/Nights, 3x12 hour shifts (18:30-07:00); weekends as needed; no call required
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years’ CT Tech experience
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- Certifications Required:
ARRT-CT
BLS
Active Illinois state license (or in application process)
- Float Requirements: No floating required
- Scheduling: Block scheduling and time-off requests to be discussed with manager
- Locals: Accepted (no radius restrictions)
- Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment without pay; excess cancellations are billable
- Required Work Settings Experience:
Adult Outpatient
ICU
Emergency Department
Level I Trauma
- Required CT Scan Skills/Experience:
Chest (with/without contrast, vascular chest/CTA)
Head & Neck (head, sinuses, soft tissue neck, carotid, trauma head)
Spine & Musculoskeletal (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, trauma)
- Image Display/Post-Processing Skills:
Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)
ROI measurement
- Professional Knowledge/Skills:
Contrast media prep/admin
Radiation safety
Starting peripheral IVs & venipuncture
- Special Procedure: Coronary CTA
- Facility Highlights:
Level I trauma center
Magnet-designated facility
562 staffed beds
Any solid color scrubs
Cerner charting
Free parking permit (form completed at orientation)
Med Ninjas Job ID #16756. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
