Elevator Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate grain handling equipment and systems in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Load and unload trucks and railcars safely and efficiently
• Perform grain handling activities, including transferring, blending, filling, and reclaiming ground piles
• Monitor grain flow and facility operations to ensure efficient processing and storage
• Participate fully in company safety programs and comply with all applicable regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report maintenance needs, safety concerns, or equipment malfunctions to management
• Support facility maintenance activities to ensure equipment remains in safe working condition
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility, including elevators, grounds, buildings, and work areas
• Perform housekeeping duties, including sweeping, cleaning floors, and general facility upkeep
• Provide excellent customer service through professional, courteous, and helpful interactions
• Collaborate with team members to support daily operations and achieve operational goals
• Troubleshoot operational issues and make sound decisions to support efficient facility performance
• Assist with additional operational duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Forklift certification
