Machine Operator - Insulation

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Machine Operator for an Insulation Supply Company. In this role, you will tend, set up, and operate plastic tube cutting and marking machines (such as Artos cutting machines and Kingsley hot stamp foil marking machines) while maintaining strict quality standards.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 4.30 pm

Pay rate: $20 to $23 DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic tube cutting and marking equipment according to drawings, specifications, or instructions.
• Read and interpret purchase orders (P.O.s), technical drawings, and job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Perform typesetting for hot stamp foil marking machines.
• Accurately place workpieces in fixtures or against guides as required.
• Conduct continuous quality inspections to ensure parts meet customer requirements for positioning, clarity, and length.
• Maintain consistency and high quality of cutting and marking on all parts.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and comprehend written and verbal instructions in English.

• Math & Measurement: Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division including decimals); skilled in reading rulers, scales, and calipers.

• Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret P.O.s, drawings, and technical specs.

• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision, quality control, and accuracy.
