Research Associate II Assay Development

R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Research Associate II Assay Development in Tucson, AZ.

Your main responsibilities as a Research Associate II Assay Development:

·      Design and execute experimental protocols with minimal supervision, including making observations and analyzing data.

·      Prepare and present technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses; maintain complete and accurate records.

·      Troubleshoot problems and institute corrective actions.

·      Work collaboratively in a team environment by providing creative solutions and input to project planning.

·      Contribute to process improvement suggestions and assist in identifying patentable inventions.

What we are looking for in a Research Associate II Assay Development:

·      Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences

·      Experience: 2–4 years of relevant post-college job experience.

·      Technical Skills: Proficiency in a range of specialized wet laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, using a balance and stir plate, etc.); capable of searching scientific literature; skilled with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.

·      Soft Skills: Good communication and presentation skills, meticulous attention to detail, coachable, collaborative, and a proven ability and desire to learn.

·      Preferred: Experience in reagent and instrument development

Pay Scale:

$44,928 - $56,160 (Dependent on Experience)
