Seasonal Warehouse Puller/Packer - 1st Shift (Oct - Nov) - $16/hr

Join Redstone Foods as a Warehouse Puller/Packer – we are hiring for our 1st shift Puller/Packer team. Our Puller/Packer employees are the heart of our candy and soda distribution operations. S/He shops a retail store’s order from a pick-list sheet across our 160,000 sq. ft. air-conditioned warehouse. Our ideal candidate will have a good eye for detail, the drive to meet his/her daily pick and pack goals, and the ambition to learn a variety of warehouse skills.

• This is a Seasonal Position starting October-November with full-time possibility.
• 1st shift: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm + Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
• Mandatory Weekday OT as needed: 7:00 am start
• Mandatory Saturday OT - required: Oct 10, Oct 17, Oct 24, Oct 31, Nov 7, Nov 14
• $16.00 hour - Paid Weekly
• 6 months of recent experience as Order Puller/Selector in a distribution center environment.

Responsibilities:

• Pull customer orders by following printed customer pick lists
• Transport pulled items via a shopping cart or pallet jack to checking station to verify order accuracy
• Pack customer orders by following proper protocols
• Report to work on time as scheduled; attendance policy in place
• Keep warehouse organized and clean to maintain safety and health regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working in a warehouse
• Positive can-do attitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, push carts over 60 lbs
• Ability to safely ascend and descend ladders
• Must be able to physically stand, reach, pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for long periods of time
• Ablility to speak and read English
