Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Admin for a contract opportunity supporting a maternity leave. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast paced manufacturing/production environment and providing hands on support to employees.

 

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with employees, handling day to day HR questions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting a variety of administrative HR functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a front-facing point of contact for employees with HR-related questions and requests
  • Provide support regarding HR policies, benefits, attendance, payroll, and general employee inquiries
  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and other employee lifecycle processes
  • Maintain accurate employee records and information in HRIS systems
  • Assist with workers’ compensation incidents and related documentation
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports and documentation
  • Assist with audits, reconciliations, and other HR administrative tasks
  • Support employee engagement activities and events
  • Assist with compliance-related HR processes and documentation
  • Communicate HR policies and procedures to employees
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of HR administrative or HR support experience
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment required
  • Strong employee-facing/customer service experience
  • Working knowledge of California employment practices and HR processes
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field preferred
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus
