Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description:

Oslin Nation Co. has a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist that will be responsible for accurate processing of invoices of various suppliers according to agreed-upon terms while taking advantage of available discounts for timely payment. This will require excellent organizational skills and consistent follow-through. This role will encompass a wide variety of duties, which will require someone capable of taking on several projects simultaneously while being able to prioritize and remain focused. Successful candidates will have a strong background in accounts payable processes.

Job Details:

• Processing supplier invoices

• Auditing weekly check runs, ensuring prompt payment discounts are taken advantage of

• Reconciling vendor statements to ensure accuracy

• Performing and maintaining GL account reconciliations

• Cross train with other accounting functions to help provide coverage

• Other duties as assigned within the accounting department

Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite—particularly Excel and Outlook

• High levels of analytical skills and sound reasoning

• Courteous and effective communication via phone, Teams and email

• Organized, detail oriented, with exceptional follow through on open issues

• Some formal training in accounting or similar highly preferred

• Highly self-motivated and dependable, at work on time, consistently

• Ability to proactively develop effective solutions to problems

• Ability to function effectively in a small team with high standards of accuracy and performance

Hours: M-F 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
