Job Title: Technical Lead, Manufacturing Line
Client: Medical Device Manufacturing
Duration: 12 Months – Possible Extension
Location: San Diego, CA or Northridge, CA
Shift: 1st Shift | Onsite

Role Summary

Seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer- Technical Lead to provide technical leadership for a medical device manufacturing line, supporting process validation, equipment reliability, product quality, NPI, capacity, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process development, process validation, and equipment qualification.
• Support semi-automated assembly equipment, PLCs, machine interfaces, vision systems, and automation.
• Drive NPI, technology transfer, manufacturing scale-up, and product launches.
• Perform root cause analysis, corrective actions, change control, and statistical analysis/SPC.
• Improve OEE, yield, throughput, capacity, and scrap reduction.
• Support capital equipment and automation projects.
• Ensure compliance with FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and company quality procedures.
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate with Operations, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and Regulatory.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years relevant experience with Bachelor's, or 5+ years with advanced degree.
• Strong manufacturing engineering, project management, and technical leadership experience.
• Medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
