In Home Caregiver

Position Title: Caregiver

Location: Parsons, TN

Employment Type: Full‐Time / Part‐Time

Reports To: Designated Family Member

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide high‐quality, in‐home support to a 79-year-old woman who requires assistance with daily living activities, basic health monitoring, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, reliability, compassionate, and a strong commitment to person‐centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

·         Prepare meals and support dietary needs.

• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe home environment.

·         Monitor vital signs and report changes.

·         Administer prescribed oral medications as directed.

• Provide companionship, emotional support, and engagement through conversation, reading, and accompanying clients to appointments.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services provided and client progress.
• Collaborate with family members, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license.
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to deliver respectful, high‐quality care.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic healthcare practices and safe client‐handling techniques.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with client, families, and staff.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in home health, personal care, or related caregiving roles.

Work Environment: This position involves providing services in clients’ home. Flexible scheduling options may be available.
