Senior Personal Injury Paralegal

Location: Atlanta, Georgia | Full-Time | In-Office

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal who can independently manage a full caseload from pre-litigation through litigation, settlement, and resolution. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, understands Georgia civil litigation, and can anticipate deadlines and next steps without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury cases from intake through resolution.
• Handle medical records, damages, liens, demands, discovery, pleadings, motions, and settlements.
• Track statutes of limitation, court dates, discovery deadlines, and other critical dates.
• Prepare attorneys for depositions, mediation, hearings, and trial.
• Coordinate with clients, attorneys, courts, experts, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
• Review files proactively and identify missing information, deadlines, and potential issues.
• Support Case Managers and Intake staff as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of personal injury paralegal experience, including pre-litigation and litigation.
• Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Georgia civil litigation and procedures.
• Experience with discovery, court filings, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload and deadlines.
• Excellent organization, communication, judgment, and attention to detail.
• Paralegal Certificate required.

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree, Georgia Notary Public commission, and experience in a growing personal injury practice.

Technology: Clio, Lawmatics, Microsoft Office, Dialpad, Adobe Acrobat, and other modern legal technology.
