·       The pay rate is 20.00 to 21.00 an hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support a food production and packaging operation. This position will be responsible for inspecting packaged condiment products, verifying product counts, checking packaging and labels, and ensuring finished products meet quality standards before moving forward in the production process.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and has strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect packaged condiment products for quality and accuracy.
• Verify the correct product counts and quantities.
• Check packaging for damage, defects, leaks, or other quality issues.
• Ensure products are packaged correctly according to specifications.
• Verify labels, product information, and packaging are correct.
• Inspect finished products coming off the production line.
• Document quality issues and report concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Work closely with production and packaging employees to correct quality issues.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Complete required quality inspection paperwork and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Previous Quality Inspector, Quality Control, food production, packaging, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable counting and verifying packaged products.
• Ability to identify packaging defects and inconsistencies.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to stand and work in a fast-paced production environment for extended periods.
• Must be able to follow food safety, sanitation, and PPE requirements.
• Dependable and able to work independently as well as with a production team.

• Food manufacturing or food production
• Quality Control / Quality Inspection
• Packaging inspection
• GMP and food safety procedures
• Production documentation
• Condiment, sauce, seasoning, or similar food manufacturing experience
