Schedule: Rotating 12-hour, 2-2-3 schedule
Day Shift: 6:45 AM–7:00 PM
Night Shift: 6:45 PM–7:00 AM

Job responsibilities:

Operate, monitor, adjust, start and shut down recycling equipment.
Operate pulverizers, extrusion, melt-blending and pelletizing equipment.
Process, batch and stage plastic materials according to specifications.
Monitor product quality and make necessary equipment adjustments.
Troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
Operate forklifts, skid steers and other material-handling equipment.
Complete production, quality and equipment documentation.
Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist with training less-experienced operators.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.
Previous manufacturing, machine-operation or production experience.
At least one year of extrusion experience; plastics experience is preferred.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Forklift or skid-steer experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk throughout a 12-hour shift.
Comfortable working around industrial machinery and varying temperatures.
Basic computer and documentation skills.
