Job Description
Support Services of Virginia is looking for Direct Support Professional (DSP) Relief staff to work in Lynchburg, providing individualized support to people with developmental disabilities in residential and community-based settings. We are seeking dependable and compassionate team members who can adapt to different situations, engage with the community, and help the people we support achieve greater independence and a meaningful quality of life.
In this position, you will assist individuals with their daily needs and support them in working toward their personal goals. You will encourage independence, participation in the community, and positive relationships while helping individuals balance what is important to them with what is important for them.

Schedule & Work EnvironmentServices are provided 24 hours a day, and DSP Relief staff may be scheduled for day, evening, overnight, weekend, and other shifts according to program and staffing needs. Whether your work takes place in a residential setting or in the community, you will contribute to supporting independence and quality of life.
Virtual interviews and training are available through Zoom.
CompensationStarting pay: $13.50 per hour
Potential to earn $14.00 per hour after completing training and medication certification requirements
All certifications must be verified
