Warehouse Manager

Job Summary: 

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising warehouse staff, coordinating deliveries and parts distribution, and maintaining efficient storage systems. The Warehouse Manager ensures accurate inventory tracking, timely fulfillment of material requests for field technicians, and compliance with safety and company procedures. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of HVAC and electrical materials, and a commitment to operational excellence. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Overseeing and managing warehouse and all warehouse employees  
• Oversee warehouse maintenance to ensure an operational warehouse 
• Organization of warehouse with restocking parts as needed 
• Responsible for all Johnstone Consignment process and inventory 
• Assists Warehouse Clerk for ensuring consignment parts are in Ables Inventory 
• Receiving deliveries and materials, tag them for what job they are for 
• Ensuring deliveries are accurate and completed follow through with each department to let them know that their orders are in and correct. 
• Labeling deliveries with job numbers and color coding per department. 
• Must be able to determine and label seasonality of all HVAC parts  
• Direct warehouse staff on projects that need completed, daily  
• Must be able to work with other Managers and Field employees to ensure effective communication 
• Ensure all tools/equipment are operational & checked when returned from jobs 
• Handle all writes of materials returned to warehouse from jobs and get turned in for CRI. 
• Ensure all returns are to supply houses in a timely manner. 
• Complete yearly inventory count 
• Central  
• Ables Fleet  

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements: 

• Must have working knowledge of HVAC and Electrical related parts 
• Forklift experience 
• Able to pass Drug Screen 
• Clear background 
• No traffic violations within the last 5 years 
• Self-motivated and can work with little supervision 
• Organized and ability to prioritize  
• Can handle fast paced environment  
• OSHA Certified is a plus 

Travel: 

No Travel is expected for this job. 

Working Conditions 

This position works in the warehouse where temperatures can be extreme at times. There is a controlled office climate within a portion of the warehouse.  

Physical Demands 

The physical demands for this position are moderate. You must be able to use standard office equipment such as telephone, computer, cell phone, printer etc. Must be able to use equipment such as lifts, forklifts, ladders etc. Must be able to lift and carry items up to 51 lbs. on regular basis 

Mental Requirements 

Self-motivated and able to handle rapidly changing priorities and several tasks simultaneously. Must be able to respond to difficult situations with customers and co-workers with high levels of professionalism.  

Relationships:  

Communicates and interacts with employees on all levels in the office. The title will have a high level of contact with customers and vendors and will be required to always maintain professional communication and appearance during work hours.
