Class A CDL Driver

Pay Range: 28.00–32.00 per hour
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 6-month contract with possible extension

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with possible overtime as needed. Local routes; no regular overnight travel or weekends.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 2 years of CDL experience.
• Must have flatbed experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
• Strong commitment to safety, DOT compliance, communication, and teamwork.
• Construction, telecommunications, or utility experience preferred.
• Experience operating excavators, skid steers, trenchers, vacuum trucks, trailers, or similar equipment preferred.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate CDL vehicles to transport personnel, equipment, and materials to job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain required DOT documentation.
• Load, unload, secure, and transport equipment and materials in compliance with DOT requirements.
• Operate construction equipment, including excavators, skid steers, trenchers, vacuum trucks, trailers, and related machinery.
• Support equipment mobilization and transportation between project locations.
• Perform traffic control and flagging activities and set up traffic control devices.
• Communicate effectively with crews, project managers, and the public.
• Follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, DOT requirements, and customer standards.
• Maintain clean and organized vehicles, equipment, and work areas.
• Work outdoors around active construction sites and in varying weather conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project operations.
