Job Description
SHEET METAL FOREMAN
Proman Skilled Trades is looking for Sheet Metal Foremen.
You will lead job sites or fabrication shops, managing work crews, reading blueprints and scheduling HVAC ductwork or metal installations.
The Sheet Metal Foreman will e responsible to enforce safety rules, track project budgets and serve as the main link between field workers and general project managers.
CORE DUTIES AND SKILLS
Crew Management - Directs daily tasks for journeymen, apprentices and installers
Quality Safety - Performs site inspections and ensures OSHA compliance
Technical Execution - Interprets blueprints, manages layouts and resolves installation problems
Scheduling - Coordinates material deliveries and aligns work phases with other trades on site.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience - Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC or sheet metal fabirication
Certifications - Valid OSHA certification (such as OSHA 10 or OSHA 30)
Soft Skills - Strong leadership, bilingual communication a plus, problem solving skills
