Project Manager, Architectural Millwork

Western Millwork is a custom architectural millwork and stone manufacturer serving commercial / hospitality / healthcare projects. We are looking for a Project Manager to own jobs from the first handoff through final billing, working closely with our estimating, engineering, shop, and installation teams.

What you'll do

• Take over projects from estimating, validate scope, inclusions, and exclusions, and flag risks such as long-lead items, difficult site conditions, and mockups
• Build the project roadmap: schedules, budgets, submittal timelines, and organized project files
• Manage submittals for drawings, finishes, samples, and hardware with GCs and architects, and keep purchasing aligned with approvals
• Coordinate with engineering through shop drawing review and revisions until drawings are approved for construction
• Track material orders and release jobs to production with complete information; walk the shop regularly to check quality and schedule
• Document and manage all changes, ensuring signed change orders are in place before extra work begins
• Coordinate delivery, site readiness, and installation, including crew briefings, schedules, labor-hour tracking, and jobsite walkthroughs
• Run punch lists, closeout documents, warranties, and final billing, then review wins and lessons learned with the team

What we're looking for

• [3-5+] years of project management experience in architectural millwork, casework, cabinetry, or a related custom manufacturing field
• Ability to read architectural plans, specifications, and shop drawings
• Strong communication skills with GCs, architects, vendors, and internal teams
• Comfort managing budgets, schedules, and contract changes
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects at once
• Experience with Bluebeam or similar markup software is a plus
• Familiarity with AWI standards is a plus
