Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location

Kodiak, AK | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (Variable) | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting within an Acute Care environment
• Maintain clinical competency and float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• Utilize Epic for all clinical documentation and charting
• Participate in weekend shifts as part of the standard schedule
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission — pending licenses are not accepted
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Must be able to commit to all scheduling and RTO requests upfront at time of submission; post-submission RTO requests may not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital or Level IV Trauma environment
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
