Deburr Technician

Location: Fremont, CA. 

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM; flexibility for overtime/swing shift as needed)

Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour

Experience Required: 1+ years of deburring experience (open to entry-level with a willingness to learn)

Key Responsibilities

• Finishing Operations: Perform deburring, edge breaking, blending, sanding, grinding, polishing, and surface finishing on manufactured parts.

• Precision Handling: Remove burrs, sharp edges, and defects without damaging parts or altering required dimensions.

• Blueprint Reading: Follow engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

• Quality Inspection: Visually inspect completed work using basic measuring tools and report any discrepancies or material defects.

• Workspace Maintenance: Maintain tools, complete accurate production logs, and keep work area clean and safe.

Preferred Skills & Tool Experience

• Hands-on experience with hand tools, files, scrapers, sanding blocks, orbital sanders, 4-inch grinders, and hand drills.

• Familiarity with pedestal grinders, belt sanders, sandblasters, tumblers, and drill presses.

• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and proactive team communication.

Physical & Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to work with hands, stand/sit for up to an 8-hour shift, and lift up to 35 lbs.

• Ability to work safely in a dusty environment with required PPE (masks, safety glasses, ear protection).

• Pre-employment requirements: Willingness to submit to a background check, drug screen, and provide 3 professional references.
