Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Department

Location

Conroe, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Mids: 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM | Every other weekend expected

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Emergency Department (plus 8 hall beds) with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform procedures including IV/blood draws, NIH stroke scale assessments, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring
• Operate unit equipment including Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, and portable EKG machines
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, paramedics, and LVNs across shift coverage
• Adhere to unit dress code: royal blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with Emergency Department experience
• Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC certification
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Strong team-player mentality with demonstrated compassion and empathy in a fast-paced emergency setting
