Lead Dispatcher - Construction Hauling

About the Role

We're a growing construction hauling company in the DFW area, and we need a hands-on dispatcher who can run day-to-day operations now and build the dispatch and service department as we grow. This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity. The right person will eventually lead a team of 2 to 4.

What You'll Do

• Run daily dispatch for construction hauling across DFW
• Coordinate customer orders, schedules, and delivery timelines
• Build and manage load schedules using Tread and Google Sheets
• Recruit, onboard, and manage owner-operators and drivers
• Monitor driver performance and improve route efficiency
• Keep DOT compliance and safety documentation in order
• Be the point of contact for customers and vendors
• Help shape processes and, over time, train and supervise additional dispatch and service staff
  

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of dispatch experience, ideally in construction hauling, trucking, or fleet operations
• Working knowledge of DOT compliance and safety requirements
• Experience with dispatch software (Tread preferred) and strong Google Sheets skills
• Proven ability to manage owner-operators and drivers
• Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills
• Calm and decisive under pressure, and dependable on days when things go sideways
• Leadership potential and a desire to grow with the company
  

What We Offer

• Competitive base salary of $85,000 to $135,000, based on experience
• Performance-based incentives on top of base pay
