Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support prescription fulfillment in an independent retail pharmacy. Reporting to the Pharmacist-in-Charge, this role will provide daytime shift coverage while assisting with medication dispensing, patient service, insurance billing, and accurate pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Process and fulfill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with medication dispensing under pharmacist supervision.
• Provide patient assistance and customer service.
• Process insurance billing and resolve related issues.
• Complete pharmacy data entry accurately.
• Maintain prescription and patient records.
• Follow medication safety procedures and pharmacy compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in pharmacy operations.
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program.
• State pharmacy technician registration or license.
• Knowledge of prescription processing and medication safety.
• Experience with insurance billing and inventory control.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective customer service and communication skills.
