About this job
Job Description
CASA OH is a design and carpentry studio specializing in bespoke interiors and custom furniture where every joint and finish is crafted by hand—no CNCs, no MDF, no shortcuts. We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team and grow with us.
We are looking for a Finish Carpenter with 4-5 years of experience
This role is for someone who wants to fit into a new system and continue evolving their skillsets. Despite previous experience, you must be open to learn and follow CASA OH’s specific methods, standards, and approach to craftsmanship.
What You’ll Do:
- Carpentry Basics: Take any given task and execute it at a high level with attention to detail. Includes edgebanding, sanding, assembly, hardware installation, and on-site install.
- Shop Stewardship: Maintain a pristine workspace and handle all shop start, cleaning and closing responsibilities.
- Deliveries & Installs: Assist in the loading and unloading of supply orders, lumber, and large scale finished pieces.
What You Bring:
- Self Respect & Attention to Detail: If you don't make your bed in the morning, don't bother applying.
- Respect & Professionalism: You're working directly with a Korean Master Carpenter so you're expected to learn and follow cultural norms and expectations. You treat clients, coworkers, tools, materials, and workspaces with care and respect.
- Punctuality: On time is late.
- Strength & Stamina: You’re comfortable with the physical demands of a woodshop (lifting/moving heavy materials) and thrive in a structured M-F, 7:30am–4:30pm schedule.
- Experience: At least 3–5 years of professional finish-carpentry, cabinetry, millwork, or furniture-making experience.
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
The Perks:
- The rare opportunity to learn from a Korean Master Carpenter
- Consistent full-time role in a creative, high-standard environment.
