We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Ophthalmologist for a locum tenens assignment providing inpatient NICU coverage in Texas.

Opportunity Details

• December 2026 coverage

• Monday-Friday schedule

• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• No call required

• Approximately 48 total hours needed

• Inpatient setting

• Cerner EMR

Responsibilities

• Perform Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) screenings

• Provide ophthalmology coverage for NICU patients

• Inpatient rounding

• Collaborate with nursing and neonatal care teams

• Care for newborn patient population

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Ophthalmology

• Fellowship training preferred

• Active Texas license required

• Pediatric Ophthalmology experience required

• ROP screening experience preferred
