Job Summary
The healthcare organization is seeking a CT Technologist in the Radiology department at a healthcare facility. This role involves performing Computed Tomography (CT) scans and general radiology exams, including X-rays, with a focus on ensuring quality imaging procedures. The position offers a Monday through Friday daytime schedule with call obligations.
Job Details
- Location Requirements: Must be licensed in North Dakota with ARRT certification; no CT-specific certification required.
- Certifications & Education: BLS, ARRT certification, current ARRT radiologic technologist certification, North Dakota license, and BLS (AHA) certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
- Schedule: Dayshift, Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans and general radiology exams such as X-rays.
- Schedule and assist with mobile imaging units including MRI, ultrasounds, and Dexascans.
- Operate imaging equipment such as Toshiba CT, Carestream X-ray, and Siemens mobile units.
- Maintain proficiency in EMR & PACS systems, including Epic and Siemens Intellispace.
- Assist with limited X-ray procedures; IV capability preferred.
- Respond to on-call situations with a 20-minute response time, including weekly nights and weekend coverage, notably Friday nights.
- Follow department-specific orientation protocols and dress code standards.
- Additional Information:
- No clinical involvement with patient care beyond imaging procedures.
- No registered radiology assistants (RRAs) are utilized within this department.
- The department has one CT scanner, one DR mobile, and one DR room.
