Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) The organization is seeking an experienced and adaptable Physical Therapist for inpatient care in a rural critical access hospital setting. The role involves providing therapy services across multiple units, working in both inpatient and outpatient environments, and traveling between facilities to support patient needs. This position supports acute care patient populations, requiring a licensed professional capable of managing a variety of diagnoses and functional assessments.
Job Details
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Washington Licensure, and at least 1 year of related experience.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Position includes working in acute care at one hospital and traveling approximately 23 miles to another outpatient facility for coverage.
- Required Skills: Experience in acute care, ability to work in inpatient and outpatient settings, proficiency with charting systems (preferably Epic), and familiarity with various therapeutic assessments and devices.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be able to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings and be willing to travel between hospitals. The position involves therapeutic interventions, patient education, and assessments across a broad spectrum of diagnoses, including orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and post-surgical recoveries.
