Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected start September 2026 | 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (Saturday & Sunday for days)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 4–5:1
• Care for post-cath patients (no sheath removal), pacemaker placement patients, and stroke patients
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips including amiodarone and Cardizem
• Utilize unit equipment including Pyxis, Alaris pumps, Welch Allyn vitals machines, and Meditech EMR
• Float as needed to other telemetry departments, med-surg, and PCU
• Collaborate with a fast-paced, team-oriented staff in a high-acuity cardiac environment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or compact eligibility) in the state of Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry or cardiac nursing experience
• ACLS certification required — candidates without current ACLS will not be considered
• Demonstrated experience with post-cath recovery (no sheath removal), pacemaker placements, stroke patients, and cardiac drip management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiac or telemetry setting
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
