Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Route 7 and Grace Way, Canaan, CT 06018

Pay: $23/hr
Schedule: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM | Rotating 12-hour shift

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to safely and accurately move products within a distribution center.

Responsibilities:

• Operate high-reach, counterbalance forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and dock stockers.
• Unload, put away, replenish, pick, and load palletized products.
• Use RF scanners and WMS to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow safety procedures and required PPE requirements.
• Maintain product integrity and support cross-training across warehouse functions.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of relevant forklift experience.
• Intermediate experience operating a high-reach or counterbalance forklift required.
• RF scanner and WMS experience.
• Manhattan WMS experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 2 days of hire.
• Basic computer, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read distribution documents in English.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push/pull, and lift as required in a warehouse/distribution environment. Some areas may require lifting up to 20 lbs.
