Job Title: Customer Support
Job Description
The Customer Service Support role is integral in ensuring all retardant orders and inventory movements are processed accurately and in a timely manner for various sites, including Rancho Cucamonga, off-site tolling facilities, terminals, and airbases. This position supports internal supply chain teams to maintain smooth operations and requires conducting all business in a professional, safe, and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer calls and inquiries.
- Provide front desk coverage.
- Communicate order status with customers and team members.
- Create and process orders and invoices in ERP.
- Manage retardant orders and transfers.
- Process invoices, including IPP and mobile bases.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues.
- Handle sample requests and shipping quotes.
- Schedule shipments and maintain records.
- Troubleshoot ERP issues.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
- Proficiency in administrative support and data entry.
- Strong skills in Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to maintain clear and consistent communication with customers, management, and team members.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable with administrative assistance, scanning, and calendar management.
- Familiarity with Excel pivot tables.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities and multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Flexible and available for overtime and after-hours work during peak periods.
Work Environment
This is a 6 month contract to hire job during the busy season (fire season), with a schedule of 7:30 AM to 4 PM, fully onsite. There will be overtime work required during month-end, and possibly working Saturdays depending on when month-end falls in the week. The role requires flexibility and availability for overtime and after-hours work during peak periods.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
