Job Description
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A retail pharmacy technician role is available in Henderson, NV, supporting a specialty HIV/AIDS pharmacy. This full-time position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with early Friday release hours and a contract duration of 13 weeks, with potential for contract-to-hire.
Responsibilities include low volume prescription processing, data entry, and accurate filling and dispensing of medications within the specialty pharmacy setting. Exceptional patient care and communication with both patients and healthcare providers are essential. Attention to detail and reliability in attendance and punctuality are critical for success in this role.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Nevada Pharmacy Technician license.
- Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations.
- Experience dispensing medications specifically for HIV/AIDS patients is highly preferred.
- Proficient with QS1 pharmacy software (please confirm experience).
- Strong communication skills with patients and providers.
- Demonstrated commitment to consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Positive attitude and professionalism in all patient interactions.
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
