Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support sample intake, documentation, and reporting activities for a manufacturing environment in California. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is organized, accurate, and comfortable handling data, records, and testing information in a fast-paced setting. The role involves coordinating sample records, documenting analytical information, and helping ensure results are communicated clearly and maintained accurately.
Responsibilities:
• Receive incoming samples, assign identifying information, and ensure they are stored properly for later evaluation.
• Enter testing details, numerical data, and related records into computer systems with a high level of accuracy.
• Review sample information to determine the required analysis steps and document the appropriate testing workflow.
• Maintain complete records of test activity, results, and daily operational logs for tracking and reference purposes.
• Prepare clear reports based on recorded findings and help communicate results to internal stakeholders when needed.
• Respond to routine questions about documented results by referencing recorded data and established procedures.
• Keep equipment usage information and supporting documentation current and well organized.
• Stay informed on relevant technical practices and industry developments that may affect reporting or documentation standards.z;s
• At least 3 years of experience in data entry, records management, or a related administrative support role.• Strong typing skills with the ability to enter numeric and text-based information accurately.
• Experience using computer-based data entry systems in a structured work environment.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple records without losing accuracy.
• Comfortable working with logs, reports, and documented procedures in a manufacturing or laboratory-related setting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for answering questions and sharing information clearly.
• Ability to organize materials, maintain consistent documentation, and follow established handling processes.
