QA/QC Manager

Quality Control Manager - MEP Construction | Maryland

$117,594 - $161,692 + Annual Incentive | 100% Employee-Owned Company

A nationally recognized, 100% employee-owned mechanical, electrical & plumbing (MEP) contractor is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead QA/QC delivery across a major construction project. This is a site-based leadership role owning the full quality program from planning through execution.

What you'll do:

• Develop, maintain, and communicate QA/QC standards across the project
• Review specifications for code compliance and constructability
• Lead field observations of MEP systems against approved plans and contract documents
• Prepare quality control reports for the management team
• Identify deficiencies and drive corrective actions to resolution
• Run QC/QA preparatory and planning meetings ahead of field work
• Coach, develop, and provide performance feedback to direct reports

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years relevant experience, including 3+ years in a lead capacity
• Strong grasp of lean construction/manufacturing principles
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
