Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in managing personal injury cases from intake through litigation and resolution.

• Assist attorneys with case intake, file organization, case management, and deadline tracking.

• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research resources.

• Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and correspondence.

• Review and organize medical records, accident reports, and other evidence relevant to personal injury claims.

• Communicate with clients, witnesses, medical providers, and experts to gather and follow up on case information.

• Maintain accurate and organized case files using legal case management software such as SmartAdvocate.

• Assist with litigation activities, including court filings, deposition scheduling, and preparation of trial exhibits.

• Perform document review, data entry, proofreading, transcription, and other administrative duties as needed.

• Assist with project management and ensure case-related tasks and deliverables are completed on schedule.

• Maintain professional communication with clients, courts, medical providers, and other external parties.

• Proven experience as a Paralegal, preferably with a focus on plaintiff personal injury litigation.

• Candidates with experience in related litigation areas such as workers' compensation or family law may also be considered.

• Strong knowledge of legal research tools, including Westlaw and LexisNexis.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong legal drafting, proofreading, document review, and organizational abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines effectively.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Experience with legal case management software; SmartAdvocate experience is a plus.

• Ability to work effectively in an on-site, fast-paced legal environment.

• The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of personal injury litigation, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
