$19/Hour (Weekly Pay)

Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative provides front-desk and administrative support in a healthcare setting. This role is responsible for greeting patients, assisting with intake, scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and accurately collecting and balancing patient payments while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with managing the 20-minute wait-time process
• Assist patients with intake and registration, including copying required documents
• Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles and issue receipts
• Manage the cashier box and complete daily deposits according to company policies
• Process walk-in patients and visitors
• Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments
• Maintain, scan, file, and prepare medical records for scheduled appointments
• Ensure correspondence is scanned and/or filed accurately and promptly
• Process medical records release requests and maintain required logs
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–2 years of related work experience, including data entry
• Working knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
• Ability to accurately sort and file documents using alphabetical or numerical systems
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• ICD-9 and CPT coding experience preferred
