Job Description
We are seeking friendly, motivated, and customer-centric Licensed Customer Care Agents (Property & Casualty) to join our team! In this fully remote role, you will research and respond to insurance and non-insurance inquiries via phone, email, text, chat, and social media. You will also assist pet owners with new enrollments, incoming claims, policy education, and ongoing fulfillment tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer care across phone, email, text, chat, and social channels in a timely, empathetic, and efficient manner.
Answer customer inquiries regarding insurance coverage, policy specifics, and general pet health offerings.
Educate pet owners on full product offerings and assist them with expanding coverage to protect their pets.
Process new customer enrollments, manage incoming claims discussions, and complete fulfillment tasks per company guidelines.
Apply problem-solving skills to address customer issues, resolve poor experiences, and foster long-term positive relationships.
Navigate ticketing systems, back-office software, and digital platforms to document interactions accurately.
Ensure compliance with company policies and insurance guidelines while understanding when exceptions are appropriate.
Required Qualifications
Licensure: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Producer License (must be verified active; non-adjuster/personal lines).
Experience: Prior experience in a direct customer service role with a high degree of customer interaction.
Software: Experience using ticketing and customer support software (e.g., Zendesk, Kustomer, Gladly).
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and administrative proficiency.
Attitude: A passionate animal lover with a warm, friendly demeanor and a roll-up-your-sleeves, entrepreneurial mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working within the pet or animal health industry (e.g., veterinary clinic, pet insurance, shelters, Chewy, BarkBox).
Schedule & Work Environment
Work Style: 100% Fully Remote (Equipment provided and shipped directly to you).
Note: Candidates can reside in any state EXCEPT California, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Washington, Hawaii, Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Nebraska, or Montana.
Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM Eastern Time (must work Eastern Time regardless of candidate location).
Weekend Shift: 1 Saturday per month (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST) with a weekday off provided during that week. Schedules are provided 3 months in advance.
