Senior Business Systems Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to support business and technology initiatives in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. This Long-term Contract position will focus on translating operational needs into effective system solutions while partnering closely with stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong business systems expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to work within technical environments that include Ruby on Rails applications.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with business teams and technical stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document system needs and process expectations.
• Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, functionality, and overall system performance.
• Translate business objectives into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and supporting documentation for development teams.
• Work alongside engineering teams supporting Ruby on Rails-based applications to ensure requirements are accurately understood and delivered.
• Facilitate discussions, workshops, and reviews to align project scope, priorities, and solution design with business goals.
• Support testing efforts by defining acceptance criteria, validating outcomes, and confirming that implemented solutions meet business requirements.
• Track issues, risks, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with system enhancements and process changes, including business-impact assessments and implementation support when needed.• Proven experience working as a Business Systems Analyst or Senior Business Systems Analyst in complex business environments.
• Strong understanding of business systems analysis, requirements elicitation, process mapping, and solution documentation.
• Ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams in a collaborative setting.
• Experience supporting or partnering with teams working in Ruby on Rails environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive work forward in a contract-based engagement.
