Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic team member to join our team as a Material Handler. This role is crucial for supporting the sustaining business for our Cabin Integration value stream at our Everett, WA facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for following inventory procedures and performing a variety of manual and administrative tasks associated with inventory control, work in progress (WIP), and kitting. The position operates in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is critical, and collaboration across departments is essential to ensure alignment between manufacturing processes, work instructions, and material handling processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the planning team for proper execution of work orders.
  • Prepare work order kits with a high level of accuracy.
  • Adhere to functional group KPI and provide feedback for opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain records and keep documents of necessary work orders based on requirements.
  • Use material handling equipment such as screw guns, tape measures, etc.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor by discussing issues with management to ensure good morale.
  • Perform related duties as required within the scope of this job function.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or educational equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unaided.
  • US citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification if required.
  • Computer skills including data entry of issuing materials and goods movements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SAP and Excel (including lookups and pivot tables).
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Previous experience in materials handling.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
