Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is tailored for a skilled pharmacist aiming to contribute expertise within a focused pharmacy environment. The role involves critical responsibilities centered on prescription verification and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Day shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct final pharmacist verification of compounded prescriptions before dispensing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to all applicable regulations.
  • Verify prescription orders for clinical appropriateness, dosage accuracy, patient information, potential drug interactions, formulation integrity, and labeling requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a pharmacist, with preference for experience in a closed-door pharmacy setting.
