Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit encompassing orthopedic, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice patient populations
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, adjusted based on acuity
• Float between two Medical Surgical units (5th and 6th floor) as operationally required
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes across a 36-bed unit environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Missouri
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Willingness and ability to float between Medical Surgical units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry, cardiac, or respiratory patient populations
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
• Experience in a travel or multi-unit nursing environment
