Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Location

Poplar Bluff, MO | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit serving orthopedic, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice patient populations
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6, adjusting based on patient acuity
• Float between two Medical Surgical units (5th and 6th floor) as needed
• Document patient care and clinical information accurately using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Missouri
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Ability and willingness to float between Med Surg units as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry, cardiac, or respiratory patient populations
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
• Experience in a high-acuity or multi-specialty Medical Surgical environment
